It still isn't clear when we can all starting lighting trees to the sounds of Snoop Dogg's BUSH, but the D-O-double G is imploring us to get as high as can be ahead of time in the funk-flecked preview track, "Awake." It's a surefire ticket to the red-eye express, and you can hear it online now.
Like the recently unveiled "Peaches & Cream," the song takes an especially buoyant approach via its sparkling disco-funk guitars and light-hearted groove. On board once again are Pharrell Williams and Charlie Wilson, who add melodies about sparking up with a group of blazers. As for Snoop, he hints that everyone in the party should enjoy themselves, but casually warns: "do not try and get higher than me."
