Last month on Anderson Cooper 360, the host took a few playful shots at Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan for posing on the cover of a magazine with cats during the show's "RidiCulist" segment. Corgan hit back with a couple of tweets and it seemed the feud had died down.
Being Billy Corgan, however, the alt-rock icon revived the hilarious back-and-forth by selling "Fuck You Anderson Cooper" T-shirts (pictured above) at the band's Chicago gig last night (November 26).
Technically, with the band name squeezed into the design, they read: "Fuck You Smashing Pumpkins Anderson Cooper," but the general sentiment is clear enough. Grammatical issues aside, the shirts also feature some fancy looking cats wearing white bow ties.
Corgan and co. are slated to return with Monuments to an Elegy on December 9 (via BMG), but if you want to get your hands on one of these shirts, you'll probably have to take a trip across the Atlantic — the band's upcoming world tour dates are listed below.
