Skydiggers Mark 25th Anniversary with Canadian Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 28, 2013

As previously reported, roots-loving Toronto crew Skydiggers are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year via a series of special releases, the first of which is the impending live collection, All of our Dreaming: Skydiggers Live, 1988, 2000 & 2012. Fittingly, the band will also be repping the milestone with some concert dates, and the first batch of shows have just been announced.

A press release outlines a few dates spread out over a series of weekends in May and June. The first date takes place in Calgary, though the band also have stops set up in the Prairies and Ontario, and a two-night stand in Halifax. You can catch the itinerary details down below.

As previously reported, All of our Dreaming: Skydiggers Live, 1988, 2000 & 2012 will be delivered March 5 through Latent Recordings. The release compiles an previously unreleased set of tracks recorded at Toronto's Spadina Hotel in the '80s, the 2000 concert set There & Back, and the new DVD Skydiggers Live at The Glenn Gould Theatre, which was filmed last fall. It is the first of the band's four planned releases this year.
