After issuing their This Is How the Wind Shifts album in 2013, Burlington, ON's Silverstein have announced a breeze has blown them towards a new label home in Canada, New Damage Records.
A press release confirms the post-hardcore veterans have inked up with the Toronto imprint, with the band adding on Facebook that they'll be represented by Rise Records in the rest of the world. This Is How the Wind Shifts had been delivered through Universal Music Canada/Hopeless.
"New Damage are on the cutting edge of aggressive music in Canada," the band said in a statement of their new domestic home base. "What New Damage is doing in the modern music era is truly exciting, both for artists and fans. Signing with New Damage isn't about making a new business relationship, but rather furthering our personal relationship with some of the most talented industry people in the world."
While details are pending, the group expect to have their next album out sometime in 2015, with the band also celebrating their 15th anniversary throughout the year.
