Canadian post-hardcore titans Silverstein have released a new video for "Die Alone," the latest single from their upcoming 10th studio album Misery Made Me, out May 6 via UNFD/NSEW Recordings.
The track, which features Comeback Kid's Andrew Neufeld, "discusses the power imbalance that often happens in one-sided friendships — where a toxic person controls another," according to vocalist Shane Told.
"It's a classic theme," he added, "but one we have seen a lot more over the past few years with misinformation leading to tremendous pressure from people to act a certain way, or vote a certain way, or become a puppet for a negative cause."
In addition to Neufeld's contribution, the forthcoming album also features the Devil Wears Prada's Mike Hranica and nothing, nowhere. Previously released tracks include "Ultraviolet," "It's Over" and "Bankrupt."
