Comeback Kid vocalist and songwriter Andrew Neufeld just doesn't sit still. When he's not touring the world and releasing hit hardcore records with his main band, he's dabbling in some new project. This restlessness has manifested itself in the form of Sights & Sounds, the band he shares with his brother and two other members.
The band released their debut, self-titled EP in 2007, showcasing a sound that our Ty Trumbull called "stark, almost-atmospheric soundscapes that are equal parts anger, aggression and artistic instrumentation." Now, two years later, they've announced their debut full-length.
Titled Monolith, the record will be out on March 26 via Smallman Records. The album was produced by Canadian metal icon Devin Townsend and based on the two songs now streaming at the band's MySpace page, it takes a similarly experimental route.
Be sure to catch Sights & Sounds on their previously announced Canadian tour with A Textbook Tragedy this spring.
