'The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart' (album stream)

Brazilian metal legends Sepultura are set to deliver their Metropolis-themed The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart next Tuesday (October 29), but you can stream all the punishing, robot-referencing action now via a full-album stream.

It all gets off to a menacing start with the bonecrushing "Trauma of War," which boasts manic thrash beats and armor piercing guitar licks. Death marches "Manipulation of Tragedy" and "The Bliss of Ignorants" are to follow.

You'll note in the SoundCloud player that the funky "Da Lama Ao Caos" runs at 25 minutes long, though that includes a giant gap of silence until a "hidden track" drum battle between between Eloy Casagrande and former Slayer skinsman Dave Lombardo closes out the collection.

You can sample it all down below, and read Exclaim!'s full review on the LP here.
