Earlier this month, lo-fo princes Sebadoh confirmed that their new Defend Yourself LP was set to drop on September 17 via new label home Joyful Noise Recordings. Now, the band have offered up more details behind the set by unveiling its cover art and tracklisting.
The group posted the crayon-coloured album art on their Facebook page, and as you can see above, it combines the scribbly look of the act's classic logo with a halved-heart. The band's Lou Barlow had previously tweeted an early version of the artwork. You can see the creative process behind the art in a video down below.
As for the music, Defend Yourself features 13 new tunes, with song titles including "Defend Yr Self" and "Calves of Champions." While the band issued their 2012 Bandcamp release Secret EP onto 10-inch vinyl earlier this week, Defend Yourself is the first full-length since 1999's The Sebadoh.
