Sea and Cake Visit Toronto and Montreal on North American Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 11, 2011

Earlier this year, the Sea and Cake released Moonlight Butterfly, a six-song mini-album that saw the band "exploring new textures, extended structures, and different instrumentation." Now, long-running jazz-inflected indie rockers will bring those new jams on a North American tour.

The late 2011 trek involves various stops across North America, including a performance at Lee's Palace in Toronto on November 5 and La Sala Rossa in Montreal on November 6. All dates are available below.

According to a post on theThrill Jockey site, the Sea and Cake are already hard at work on a follow-up to the release, explaining that "they have already started working on an additional album for release late 2011 or early 2012."
