Scout Niblett issued her new album It's Up to Emma earlier this week through Drag City, and the Portland-based artist has celebrated the feat by unveiling a North American tour schedule.
Niblett already has a European tour starting up next week, but she'll now follow those dates with a run around her home continent. The trip kicks off in Seattle but quickly bounces to Vancouver for a show on August 23 before heading off to other Canadian stops in Montreal and Toronto. The West Coast dates will feature support from Pat Gubler's P.G. Six project, while shows further out east will have Baltimore noise rock crew Dope Body opening for Niblett.
You can see the tour details down below.
As previously reported, It's Up to Emma "storms and cascades through an alinear tale of domestic emotional crises" and features lyrics that look "at how to face the truth of being stripped of 'the other.'" You can watch the recently premiered video for the album's "Gun" at the bottom of the page.
