New York-based electro-pop group School of Seven Bells have done a lot of newsworthy things in the last two years, from releasing an album on Vagrant to losing one of their members. They're not slowing down yet, though, as the duo have announced plans for a new album.
The album is called Ghostory and a press release explains that the record is a loose concept album about a child named Lafaye and her experiences with ghosts.
The band's Benjamin Curtis explained the quicker recording process that they used for this LP, saying, "We knew we wanted to do something that was more sensual and spontaneous than anything we had ever done before, and that meant writing together in a room, coming up with ideas quickly and immediately reacting to what the other person was doing."
No album art or tracklist have yet been revealed, but Ghostory will be available on February 28 via Vagrant Records/Ghostly International.
