Winnipeg duo Sc Mira have an EP called Waiting Room Baby due out in 2015 through Pipe & Hat, and having shared the track "On My Own," the pair of Tyler Wagar and Sc have now released a video for the same tune.
While the song is a climactic, grandiose folk rock anthem, the accompanying video is comparatively humble. Directed by Sc and Wagar, it's a vintage-looking black and white affair with lots of wigs and goofy mugging for the camera.
An announcement explains, "You can't always change reality, but you can escape it. 'On my Own' is a form of expressing the tragic feeling of being trapped in your own body and your own reality. Donned in wigs worn in desperate times, we set out to prove that life is all about the great escape."
