Canadian rap sensation Saukrates has just dropped a new mixtape, The Bigg Soxx Versions, which sees him rapping over some of his favourite tracks. Among them, Metric's career-making single, "IOU."
Simply called "Emily Haines," Saukrates's reworking of the track maintains Haines's singing on the chorus while he raps over the verses. The result is not only one of the most CanCon-friendly tracks we've ever heard, but also a winning combination of the dreaded rap-rock recipe.
