Satanic Threat

In To Hell

Just in case you've ever needed to hear a Satanic take on all of Minor Threat's classics, here you go, with members of Nunslaughter and one ex-Midnight dude laying down their own straight-laced takes on that classic punk band's tunes, lyrically done up how they see fit. So, "Guilty of Being White" becomes "Guilty of Hating Christ," while "Small Man, Big Mouth" becomes "Small God, Big Cross," etc. The vocals are more than a little grating, but the spirit is there (of punk, or Satan, or both) and the tossed-off production and vibe are perfect. It's humorous hearing what they've done to the lyrics, and trying to remember what the original Minor Threat tune was is a fun novelty but doesn't warrant repeat listens. Also included is a live set, just in case you ever needed to hear a horribly recorded live Satanic take on all the Minor Threat classics — you don't.
