Sam Smith and Burna Boy have come together for their first-ever collaboration on a new song titled "My Oasis." The single is out now through Capitol Records, and you can listen to it below.
Recording the single remotely during quarantine, Smith and Burna Boy teased the track on social media leading up to its release this week.
"This track has been a beautiful release of emotions for me during this time," Smith said in a statement. "I've been a fan of Burna Boy for years now and am so happy to have a tune with him."
Fans are still waiting patiently for Smith's forthcoming album, which had previously been dubbed To Die For. They announced plans to change the record's name and release date back in early pandemic days, saying that it "doesn't feel right" to put it out while the world is still in turmoil. So far, there have been no updates on the album.
Meanwhile, Burna Boy released his latest single, "Wonderful," a song about human "growth, pride and perseverance" last month.
