Australian singer-songwriter Sally Seltmann is already set to return with the follow-up to last year's Hey Daydreamer, offering up a new track called "We Are the Music."
It marks her first release since relocating to Los Angeles last year, and you can hear the city's influence in the sunny, upbeat pop number.
The track was recorded in various studios across the U.S. and Canada, in collaboration with her husband Darren Seltmann (the Avalanches) and Ontario's own Jon Lawless (Swim Good).
"Jon [Lawless] contacted me and asked if I'd like to do something with an instrumental track he was working on," she said in a statement about the single. "I loved the track so much! I cut up sections, and moved things around a bit, wrote lyrics and melody over the top, and then Darren and I worked on it some more."
She added, "I just want to make music that makes people happy."
Well, it seems like she'll accomplish that goal with the sparkling new tune. Grab your dancing shoes and hit play below to listen to "We Are the Music" [via Idolator].
