Sade Prep The Ultimate Collection, Play Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver on North American Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 23, 2011

With just one album in the past decade, Sade haven't exactly been prolific in recent years. Still, the long-running R&B group managed to go platinum with 2010's Soldier of Love, and they're now getting ready to release a new compilation and support it with a world tour.

The album is called The Ultimate Collection, and it brings together classic tracks with two unheard songs, plus a new remix of "Moon and the Sky," featuring a guest spot from Jay-Z. We don't know what the two new songs will offer, but we're guessing there won't be a Drake collaboration.

Although the tracklist has not yet been announced, The Ultimate Collection will contain 28 tracks across two CDs. According to a press release, it will feature "Sade classics from their most iconic albums." It will come out via Sony on May 3. See the cover art above.

Once the album is out, the group will hit the road for the first time in ten years. They just expanded their already-announced tour with a slew of new North American dates. The group will be on the road from June all the way until September, playing Canadian shows in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. They will be supported along the way by John Legend.
