While '90s political pop punk greats Good Riddance announced some reunion dates earlier this year, singer Russ Rankin has also focused his energies on a solo career. The vocalist will be issuing his debut effort Farewell Catalonia on Tuesday (August 7) through Paper + Plastick, and has decided to walk fans through the whole thing in a new preview video.
As you can see down below, Rankin is cloistered up at home, talking about what inspired him to make the album and detailing his lyrical content. While the vid doesn't contain any sound samples, a press release describes Farewell Catalonia as featuring "catchy rock songs mostly dealing with politics or relationships," as well as a cover of the Psychedelic Furs' "Get a Room."
