In what can only be described as "A Christmas Fucking Miracle," Run the Jewels have given their highly anticipated Run the Jewels 3 to listeners as a holiday treat well in advance of its expected release date.
Though the latest full-length from Killer Mike and El-P was initially set to arrive on January 13 of next year, the duo delivered the album for free through iTunes, Apple Music and their own website this evening.
As previously reported, Run the Jewels 3 boasts guest appearances from Danny Brown, Kamasi Washington, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, Trina and Joi Gilliam, and features the previously shared singles "Talk to Me," "2100" and "Legend Has It."
Along with the record drop, Killer Mike and El-P are looking forward to their upcoming appearance on Portlandia with a skit featuring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein. The sketch sees Armisen and Brownstein playing music industry execs in search of ideas for Run the Jewels' next album rollout.
You can find the sketch and an Apple Music stream of Run the Jewels 3 in the players below, or head the duo's official website for a download, provided it hasn't crashed.
