Last month, we reported that Vancouver's Rose Melberg would be dishing out some new dainty indie pop ditties this year via her new band Brave Irene, who are releasing their debut via Slumberland next month. If you can't handle the wait then you're in luck, because the chanteuse has generously offered up a sweetly sung song to tide us over.
This ukele-led version of the Zombies' classic "This Will Be Our Year" finds Melberg softly cooing out the tune's optimistic, forward-thinking lyrics with her mom providing plucky back-ups.
