On their tenth disc, Montreal's gutter punk gods inspire living room circle pits and bedroom pogoing with their countrified Social Distortion/X-inspired mayhem. While musically a throwback to the heady days of the Sunset Strip scene circa 1981, the words and messages are most definitely current, relevant and uniquely Canadian. Laments for a lost nation, lost friends, a lost scene and even a shot at the overzealous security preparations for the G8 summit held in Kananaskis, Alberta give way to positivity of "Girls in the Pit, an ode to the she-punks who aren't afraid to mix it up with the boys.
