Acclaimed British folk musician Richard Thompson has announced plans for the follow-up to 2013's Electric. He will release a new LP titled Still, which is due out June 23 on Harvest Records.

Roping in some high-profile help, Thompson enlisted Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy to produce the new record. It was recorded at Wilco's Chicago studio.

"Richard's been one of my favourite guitar players for a very long time," said Tweedy in a press release. "When I think about it, he's also one of my favourite songwriters and favorite singers. He's the Ultimate Triple Threat. Getting to work closely with him on this record was a truly rewarding experience, not to mention a great thrill. And he keeps alive my streak of working exclusively with artists who make me look good as a producer."

While the tracklisting has yet to be revealed, Thompson has shared a new single called "Beatnik Walking." It's a dramatic, sweeping folk number that takes Thompson back into acoustic territories. Give it a listen in the player below.
