Ahead of his North American spring tour — for which tickets go on sale tomorrow (February 24) at 1 p.m. ET — Rich Aucoin has shared yet another preview of his ongoing, multi-season Synthetic project with a new single called "Pure."
What started as "a phone recording of a Lowrey Organ's synth arpeggiator" and later evolved "to be recorded at the National Music Centre and Vintage Synth Museum" has now become a six-minute instrumental explosion showcasing the artist's exploration of synth-based electronic dance music.
The song arrives on the heels of 2022 track "We're in This Together," which arrived alongside the musician's announcement that he would be retiring his current live show format by 2025.
Synthetic: Season 1 arrived back in October, and with each of its four seasons arriving at six-month intervals, you can expect to hear more from Aucoin in the near future.
In the meantime, listen to "Pure" below.
