One of the most revered acts working in black metal today, Edmonton cult heroes Revenge released their excellent Behold.Total.Rejection late last year. The group have built a worldwide reputation, and now they'll finally offer up a headlining show in their home province.
Taking place on July 2 at Calgary's Dickens Pub, the rare appearance from this elusive act marks the first time they've headlined a venue in Alberta.
Prior to that, they appeared in Calgary and Edmonton as openers for Mayhem and Watain on the Metal Warfare tour. They also performed at the Noctis Valykries fest in 2013.
Still, the chance to see Revenge in a live setting only presents itself on a rare occasion. For this show, presented by Spirit of Truth, they'll appear alongside Profound Lore signees Auroch as well as Garotting Deep, Radioactive Vomit and Ominosity.
