Nearly a year after Beck first broke the news that he would be collaborating with Charlotte Gainsbourg, we are getting the first signs of the pair's upcoming album release. According to various blog posts (see here, here and here), the album will be out November 30 in France, with MRI serving as the record's title.
Beck apparently produced and cowrote the album with Gainsbourg, as well as does a duet with the chanteuse on the single "Heaven Can Wait," which Le Mag reports is due out October 5. Before that, though, another single is due to drop on September 14 for the track "Master Hands" (or perhaps "Master Hand").
Other possible track titles for the 11-song album include "In the End" and "Paradisco," but as of yet there is no firm tracklisting. There's also no word if Gainsbourg has tapped any other celeb guest stars on MRI; her debut 5:55 featured contributions by artists such as Air, Jarvis Cocker, the Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon and, strangely enough, Beck's father David Campbell, who did the string arrangements.
