Copyright infringement. Intellectual freedom for everyone! That and the L.A. Lakers.

Your greatest strength/weakness:
I am opinionated. Ask my girlfriend.

Your vital daily ritual:
I check my email. On the Pacific Coast I am three hours behind, so there is usually something there to motivate me to wake up in the morning.

Guilty pleasures:
I love the movie "Valley of the Dolls." That or something involving a tube of K-Y jelly.

If I wasn't playing music I would be…
Directing and editing feature films. Wait a second. I gave up the guitar when I was 19.

Your most memorable day job:
I used to be a store detective. I used to sign out radios and car keys for the police. These are the kinds of summer jobs you get when your dad is a cop.

Best/worst advice received:
Best: Have some mushrooms and come to the Pigface gig with me.
Worst: Go see Magnolia.

I would drop everything to play a benefit for…
Blinding Light Cinema. Unfortunately, I don't know how to play anything. Maybe some of my musician friends could since it just got broken into.

What makes you want to take it off and get it on?
My girlfriend saying yes.

What personal trait would make you kick someone out of your band and/or bed? And have you?
I'd kick someone out of my bed if they were a member of the Reform Party, but only after I'd slept with them.

Music is easier to get. As in comprehend.

Strangest brush with celebrity:
Bruce LaBruce shook my hand once.

What does your mom wish you were doing instead?
Making more money so I wouldn't have to borrow from my dad.
