After only just recently wrapping up a North American tour with Cut Copy, fellow Aussies the Presets are returning for round two. Come spring 2009, the electro-loving duo will once again hit up a series of U.S. cities, as well as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
Like last time, the dates still come in support of the Presets' Apocalypso album, which recently landed the band the ARIA Award for best album of the year, as well as several prominent best-of spots on year-end lists. And while there may not be a whole lot of new tunes on this tour, the Presets are planning on releasing a double-disc "Collectors Deluxe Edition" of Apocalypso in North America, which will feature remixes by Felix, Optimo, Dave Spoon and Miami Horror, among others. As of yet, there is no firm due date on that one.
