It's hard for artists to entice you to buy CDs, but San Francisco-based music producer Moldover has found a way to win that battle. After years of creating parties and installations dedicated to the art of live remixing, his debut CD drops with the artwork and song titles laid over a custom-built circuit board. Not only does it look cool but it also doubles as a synth. By pushing a small button and manipulating light sensors, you can rock any party! (Demo videos are on YouTube.) At $50 U.S. (or $29 for a smaller version) this CD has a better chance of showing up in your collection than one of those other CDs that just play music.
