Pitchshifter

Un-United Kingdom

Nottingham's Pitchshifter never fail to deliver hummable, jungle-tinged metal with huge choruses, in spite of a jump to the world of Geffen and its air ballooning excesses. I don't know if the trend towards this electronic Sex Pistols feel of the two originals ("Everything Sucks" and the title track) will be furthered on the upcoming full-length, but it's damn fine sounding either way. Included is a cover of Big Black's "Kerosene," also electronically altered for your listening pleasure. For once, an EP teaser has the desired effect.
