Pick a Piper Book Canadian Tour Dates, Share New Music Video

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 1, 2013

Organically oriented electronic act Pick a Piper recently released their self-titled debut album through Mint Records, and now the group, which is led by live Caribou percussionist Brad Weber, are going about promoting it with a music video and a string of live dates.

Following a couple of shows in May, the Canadian tour kicks off in earnest in mid-June at Toronto's NXNE festival. From there, the band will head west and wrap up by the end of the month, at which point they will take a couple of weeks off. They will then reemerge with some Atlantic Canada dates in mid-July.

See the schedule below and scroll past that to watch the video for the pensively danceable Pick a Piper track "Cinders & Dust." It was illustrated by Kyle Reed and animated by his brother Graeme, and shows a labouring monk coming face-to-face with a giant forest monster.
