Phantogram

"You're Mine"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 29, 2016

While New York pop duo Phantogram ended up pushing back the release of their long-teased Three, the album is just over a week away from hitting our ears in full. But to tease us ahead of time, they're now streaming possessive, percussive album track "You're Mine."

After beginning with what sounds like the distant crackle of a vintage drum machine's cha-cha rhythm, the song punches out a series of bluesy guitar blips and presents a series of co-ed trade-offs about swallowing one's pride.

You can get a little closer to Phantogram by streaming the single below, courtesy of Noisey. As previously reported, Three arrives October 7 via Republic and will be supported with a North American tour.
