After mapping out a North American tour and teasing fans with the single "You Don't Get Me High Anymore," Phantogram have revealed plans for their third studio album. Aptly titled Three, the new full-length will arrive on September 16 through Republic.
It marks the follow up to 2014's Voices, though the New York popsters also teamed up with Big Boi to release a self-titled EP as Big Grams last year.
The duo, consisting of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter, recorded the album in Los Angeles, sharing roles as both producers and vocalists. A press release notes that the latest material hears the band exploring a darker and more psychedelic sound, though it also promises "some of the brightest and most introspective pop melodies they've delivered to date."
