Despite these new developments, the Brit troubadour has still found the time to put together a video for his touching Amy Winehouse tribute tune "Flags of the Old Regime."
As originally reported, proceeds from the song will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which seeks to help young people struggling with addiction.
The video, meanwhile, is an appropriately sombre affair. Shot in black-and-white, it features Doherty lighting candles, as the song's lyrics get punched into a typewriter.
