Renaissance man Maynard James Keenan has been as busy as ever in the last few years, performing with Tool and Puscifer, as well as making ventures into the worlds of wine and organic food. Now, he is preparing to rekindle his inactive A Perfect Circle project with guitarist Billy Howerdel, former Smashing Pumpkins axe man James Iha, drummer John Freese and bassist Matt McJunkins.
The band will be embarking on a tour that includes five U.S. cities. Four of three stops - Phoenix, Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco - will be three-night stands, as the band will play each of their three LPs in its entirely. The other stop, in Las Vegas, will only last two nights. There will also be a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! October 27th.
The dates are not yet set in stone, and there are currently no Canadian shows, but don't be surprised if A Perfect Circle announce more plans. Back in June, Keenan told Rolling Stone that the band were intending to work on new material.
