Just in time for Christmas comes this two-disc collection of 30 outtakes, b-sides, fan club singles and otherwise uncollected works from the only survivors of the early 90s Seattle grunge movement. Although the music scene that spawned them came and went with almost equal force, Lost Dogs is a testament to the staying power of the band and a fascinating example of how not sticking to the formula is ultimately what allowed Pearl Jam to survive and thrive. From early Ten session outtakes right up to the present, the songs chart the progression of the band and reminds us why they deserve our respect.
