Peaches Preaches Pandemic Safety with New Single "Pussy Mask"

The track arrives alongside a NSFW animated music video

Peaches has returned with a new one-off single "Pussy Mask," which preaches the merits of wearing PPE during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The song comes alongside an especially raunchy (even for Peaches) NSFW new music video, which was directed by Leah Shore and animated alongside Rob Yuflo. The cartoon clip includes animated versions of Chief Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Dr. Anthony Fauci, as well as the titular anthropomorphized, mask-wearing "Pussy."

"Because of the pandemic, our collective anxieties unite us more than ever," Peaches said in a release. "Even though it may not affect each one of us the same way, we all have similar base concerns. A serious reminder that we are all in this together. I wanted the song to be absurd and fun but also a reflection of our concerns. The humour shines some light into our dark, confusing, and frustrating reality."

The single is available for pre-order on black vinyl 7-inch, as well as a picture disc 7-inch through the Third Man Records' online store and Peaches' store ahead of its June 25 release.
