Paul McCartney hasn't played a live show in Canada since launching his Freshen Up Tour with stops through Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta back in 2018. But it looks as though he could return soon.

He hinted at a potential upcoming tour on his Instagram today, sharing a photo of a billboard displaying an image of a cloudy sky with the text "Got to Get You Into My Life" at the forefront as a nod to the Beatles' 1966 Revolver hit along with a link to his mailing list.

Frontier Touring, the Australian concert company that put together the Australia and New Zealand legs of McCartney's international tour in 2016 and 2017, posted the same image to their own socials over the weekend, leading fans to believe that he'll be performing again soon.

Whether McCartney comes to Canada or not during the tour has yet to be revealed, but if anything is certain, it's that he won't be playing three-hour shows a la Bruce Springsteen

Still to come from the legend this year are his feature on Dolly Parton's upcoming rock album alongside Ringo Starr and the AI-assisted Beatles song
