As previously reported, Paul McCartney has teamed up with the new Destiny videogame to contribute some new music for the blockbuster first-person shooter. While the game has already arrived on consoles, you can now hear Macca's contribution "Hope for the Future" online.
Acting as the game's theme song, the track finds McCartney teaming up with composers Mike Salvatori and Martin O'Donnell, and it was recorded with the help of 120-piece orchestra and Giles Martin, the son of famed Beatles sound man George Martin. Give the epic piece a listen below and expect the song to arrive as a standalone single soon.
McCartney also has Wings' reissues of Venus and Mars and Wings at the Speed of Sound coming out September 23 on CD, vinyl and digitally. Plus, there's the star-studded tribute The Art of McCartney due out on November 17 via Arctic Poppy/Sony Music Canada.
