Paul McCartney's latest album may be called New, but the freshly unveiled music video for "Early Days" is filled with nostalgic remembrances of the good old days.
The clip, directed by Vincent Haycock, is a charming portrait of small-town America. Shot in black and white, it depicts a childhood filled with acoustic jam sessions, friendship, ice cream sandwiches, days at the lake, and even tragedy. All of this fits the nostalgic tone of the acoustic tune, which is about McCartney's early friendship with John Lennon.
Interestingly, Johnny Depp appears in a cameo appearance at the beginning of the clip. Watch it below courtesy of Rolling Stone.
