Paul Jacobs

"Human Emotion" (video)

Montreal musician Paul Jacobs commands the stage — be it as a one-man rock'n'roll army or playing with his newly adopted four-piece band. He recently channelled that raucous energy into his fifth LP I'm Into What You're Into, and now Exclaim! is giving you an exclusive first look at the brand new video for album cut "Human Emotion."

The psychedelic garage rock tune gets paired with equally wild visuals that take black-and-white performance footage and shots of playing with dogs, then transforms them with wobbly, sketched-out layers of effects.

Both mesmerizing and discombobulating, you can see the clip for yourself in the player below.

I'm Into What You're Into is out now, and you can catch Jacobs live in his hometown at psych fest Distorsion next month. It runs from May 12 to 15.
