Patrick Watson released their album Adventures in Your Own Backyard in the spring, and the Montreal-based popsmith and his bandmates are hard at work promoting it. Not only did the band just drop a new short film, but they are planning to spend most of the remainder of 2012 on the road.
Patrick Watson's busy live schedule will find them touring in Europe this month before returning to North America in September. In addition to some U.S. dates, they will play at the Ottawa Folk Festival on September 9 and then tour throughout Quebec. After that, the group have more European dates to be followed by another return to North America. This late fall run includes shows in Victoria, Vancouver and Toronto, plus another handful of Quebec dates.
See the schedule below. Scroll past that to watch a newly unveiled short film called "Adventures in Brooklyn." This mixes intimate performance footage with behind-the-scenes clips from the New York borough.
