Toronto's Papermaps got through some tough times with this summer's Inferior Ghost, which was one of the last-ever recordings at band leader Dean Marino's now-defunct Chemical Sound studio. Now, they've released a video for the collection's first official single, "Nobody Gets It."
The clip accompanying this boldly atmospheric rock tune shows head shots of numerous guys and gals, who pull faces for the camera and sing along as their faces fade into one another. It's a slightly disorienting trick that's used to powerful effect.
Papermaps will play a special Movember show on November 29 at Toronto's Great Hall with Cai.ro and Graydon James.
For now, check out the new video below.
