Panda Bear Announces North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 31, 2014

Panda Bear is set to deliver a "break-centric" new album in 2014, but before the Animal Collective member does that, he will be heading on a North American tour.

The artist also known as Noah Lennox revealed his travel plans in a press release, which adds that he will be previewing material from his forthcoming solo LP at the concerts. He will be heading to the Austin Psych Fest a couple weeks ahead of the trip proper, which hits up a number of U.S. clubs and includes a lone Canadian stop at Toronto's Opera House on May 20. The tour closes out in Los Angeles, to be followed by an appearance at Japan's Taico Club Festival.

You'll find all of the schedule details down below.

As previously reported, Lennox has been working on the follow-up to 2011's Tomboy in Lisbon, Portugal, reportedly with Spacemen 3's Sonic Boom. Lennox had previously teased that the set was "heavier and break-centric" than his last LP. The as-yet-unnamed ablum will appear later this year on Domino.
