As previously reported, experimental electronic pop prince Panda Bear has been unfurling tracks from his upcoming Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper through a series of radio premieres. Now three songs deep into the promotion, the musician born Noah Lennox has unveiled his psyche-melting "Acid Wash."
This latest track is blanketed in all sorts of static drips and technicolor blips, though the expansive wall of sound never threatens to overtake Lennox's famously fawn-like vocal melodies. While the psychedelic lullaby gently waltzes through most of its runtime, its closing cacophony wigs out like a bad flashback.
You can stream the song now over at NPR.
Panda Bear had previously premiered the set's "Sequential Circuits" and "Tropic of Cancer," as well as a video for the record's "Boys Latin."
Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper drops in full via Domino on January 13.
