Vancouver blues rockers the Pack A.D. seem to have the right idea on how to spread the word about their music. "We tour like hell, and if you like us, then you tell your friends," says the band's Maya Miller in a statement. "Then your friends tell their friends and so on and before you know it, you've made the band."
With a vid on MuchMusic and some recent props from Rolling Stone, the band are rapidly gaining industry attention here in Canada and down south, no doubt attributable to that "word of mouth" approach to gaining fans.
They're not lying either when they say they tour like hell, as they recently completed a massive U.S. tour where they played an exhausting 84 shows in 95 days. Still, it seems that their tour personalities match their energetic musical sensibilities, because their touring does not stop there.
Beginning in Vancouver on June 19, the ladies will make their way across Canada, playing shows in every city between Vancouver and Halifax. They're even playing in Whitehorse. Now, how bad ass is that?
