Otep

I had never heard of Otep until I saw their video for "Warhead” on television, one with a message (to hate George Bush). Parts of House of Secrets are pretty decent, but there’s something rather "processed” about this band. Like Nine Inch Nails with some creepiness and samples, somehow it starts to sound like a band that took all of the good parts of metal songs and threw them together with Pro Tools. The female vocals tend to work well with the creepy factor they are going after and for those new to metal, it will probably go over well. Definitely for an Ozzfest crowd.
