John Dwyer's Osees have announced a new double LP of live recordings culled from a 2019 show. Their latest live album, Live at the Chapel, SF, will see physical release through Silver Current and arrive digitally via Castle Face on June 12.
A press release describes the 53-minute performance as a "hi-fidelity live explosion of orc puke and kraut-gone-punk rock dominance." The physical editions of the record will arrive on black and limited-edition coloured wax and feature a "side D etching and faithfully (re)created TMOQ-style bootleg album art." Live at the Chapel, SF was originally recorded on October 2, 2019.
Today, you can hear live recordings of the group's 2018 Smote Reverser track "C" and a 14-minute rendition of their Drop cut, "Encrypted Bounce."
This fall, the band are scheduled to head back out on the road for an extensive run of North American shows‚ including a stop in Toronto. Check out their full tour schedule here.
Earlier this year, the group shared another collection of live music in the form of Levitation Sessions II.
