Following up recent melodic punk preview "Life Was Fair," Only Crime are now hitting us up with the more hardcore-styled title cut off their upcoming Pursuance LP.
Jumpy, caffeine-spiked drum blasts from Bill Stevenson throttle into action from the get-go, with choppy power chords and metalcore riffery and Russ Rankin's gravelly cries filling out the gaps of the track. Lyrically, Rankin rifles off downer lines about dark days and crumbling romantic relationships. "Give me one more chance to look inside my heart," he wrenches out over an atonal detonation of drums and metallic jabs.
