Virtuoso Turkish composer Tekbilek, shows his multi-instrumental prowess in “Wildflower” where he plays everything except for some of the hand claps. In outstanding ballads like “Red Skies,” “Ara’ya” and the brilliant title track, he integrates synthesiser voicings with evident mastery of traditional musical modes. In deed during “One Truth,” his singing style rivals Leonard Cohen in his role as the hoarse whisperer.
