Ever-prolific Of Montreal leader Kevin Barnes just cleaned out the band's closet with their latest odds-and-sods comp Daughter of Cloud, but there's always more in store from the long-running outfit. Up next is an acoustic take on Beach Boys deep cut "Little Bird."
It's a pretty straightforward take on the psychedelic soft-funk original, off of Friends. Here, Barnes plucks his way through the song and stares into the camera while tackling both Dennis Wilson's verses and brother Brian's falsetto additions. The visual of Barnes by his lonesome, meanwhile, is obscured by an overlay of forest shots.
